Teknofibra is intended for use in applications where heat absorption/reflection and sound absorption properties are required.
Applications
Teknofibra can be used in wide a variety of industries, and is designed to protects parts mounted in close proximity to high temperatures, that would otherwise be damaged. It can be used in the marine, aeronautics, and transportation industries.
Available in either 2.5 mm thickness or 4.mm thickness, it can also be supplied laminated with embossed aluminium, and a specially developed adhesive.
Available in rolls of 1500mm wide on 20 metre long, or it can be supplied in slit rolls.

Safety Notes
Teknofibra does not exhale any toxins fumes, even in high temperatures and is not harmful to health.
Heat Characteristics
Teknofibra has been independently tested by TechnoLab, in Italy, and full test results are available along with a data sheet. Sample are available for your own test purposes.

- Aluminium surface 657 °C
- Adhesive -20 °C + 200 °C
- Fibre: in excess of 400 °C
- Complete product: in excess of 1000 °C
- Weight: 2.5 mm thick +/- 410 gr./sqm.
- 4.0 mm thick +/- 570 gr./sqm.
Teknofibra is used in an antiflame role as a barrier against heat between the engine and pilot cabin.
