Soprad S510 carpet protection film, in narrow width being used to protect the carpet when painting the skirting boards.
As a non-professional decorator, and doing some DIY painting, I needed a way to paint the skirting board with my wool carpet still in situ.
I always found using paper masking tape left me with a thick line as the lower part of the trim could not be painted. So, I decided to use a 100mm wide roll of our 50-micron temporary carpet protection film as an alternative. I unrolled the film and using a thin ” wallpaper “scraper I guided it down to form a barrier between the edge of the carpet and the skirting board.
In short, it worked a treat!
